Hi Olive
I’ve been keeping track of you on your blob. I’m glad that you’re happy to be moving into the nursing home with those lovely nurses. Although you will miss the ladies of the hostel. I think about you often and hope that you feel well in yourself these days. Keep telling those wonderful stories of your life as they’re so inspirational. Love and best wishes from (mostly) sunny Queensland. Julie ( ex WWCAC admin)

Hi,
I only stubbled upon her blog because of a headline I saw on Yahoo “World’s Oldest Blogger Dies’
I wish I would of know about her blog while she was still alive, I would have loved to makes comments along the way. I have started reading from the first post, I am on the 16th post now. She has really enlightened me, so much so that I put a like to her blog on my blog and web-site. I love reading about her past and hearing her views on things current. I live up here in The US, Sanford Maine to be exact, and I have always felt a great love for Austrialia, Steve Irwin was my hero, and now I can add Olive Riley to my hero list. God bless.

I just recently learned of Olive’s death. This is my first visit to her blog. I am new to blogging just since January 2008. How I wish I had known about Olive sooner! My grandmother lived to be 105 years and 4 months. (1887-1992)
I plan to read ALL of Olive’s posts, starting with Post Number 1. I hope it isn’t removed as so many can learn so much from her. She sounded like she was just a delightful little lady!
I regret that I never got to comment on her “blob” as she called it. I already love her after just reading this one post! The world lost one sweet little lady and the good Lord gained one! She will never be forgotten! May you rest in peace, precious Olive.
